Kid N Ewe and Lamas Too


The 24th Annual Festival
November 9-10-11, 2012


The class I will be teaching on Sat. Nov. 10,2012 at 9 am
 
Beginning Needle Felting. This is a beginners class in needle felting; however all levels of needle felters are welcome. In this class you will learn to make a needle felted pin. We will also cover how to attach the sculptural piece to a garment or tapestry if desired. We will be embellishing the piece with French Knot Embroidery.
Instructor: Charlotte DesRoches
Workshop Fee: $35 Supply Fee: $10
Time: 2 1/2- 3 hours
Supplies Instructor Will Provide: Felting needles, foam block, fiber and pin back.
Prerequisite Skills: This is a beginning needle felting class. Students must be 12 or over.
Supplies Participants Should Bring: Students should be up to date on their Tetanus Shots. Please bring pencil, paper, A simple picture of the thing you want to make into a pin...coloring books are a great source. Also bring scissors , a tapestry needle and embroidery floss.

Kid N Ewe

OK...so this is crazy..I start a new blog & then don't post..life gets too busy I guess..I have done a lot of spinning and knitting and have 2 new shawl patterns in the works...I am also going to be doing the fiber show "Kid N Ewe & Lamas too" in November in Bourne, Texas. Happy 2012


Can't believe that 2012 is already here...and has been for nearly 2 weeks!
Here is what I got for Christmas! She is a baby cockatiel and her name is Hermione...my grandson Robert named her after his favorite
Harry Potter character :) Trying to get her finger trained is quite a
challenge!


I hope to design some new shawl patterns soon & am doing some test knitting for another designer, but that is all I can say about it for now.
